Here is our basic statement of faith. But in time, we will also provide some of the historic Church creeds and confessions for reference as well.

Now if you’ve been a Christian in the United States for very long, chances are you’ve heard the rallying cry “No creed but Christ!” or “No creed but the Bible!”  Even ignoring the fact that ultimately those are creeds in themselves, it’s a pretty lousy way of communicating the ideas that hold a Christian community together.  You see, Christians have always been people of words as well as people of the Word. The Creeds, confessions and catechisms of our past are really meant to show what unifies us in Jesus Christ as well as what separates us from the world. And truth be told, many people assume the worse, never even bothering to take a look at what the say.
